Situated on
South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula, 18kms north-west of Minlaton, is the
scenic township of Port Rickaby – home to the Port Rickaby Caravan
Park, nestled between coastal sand dunes and overlooking sublime seascapes.
Fishing, swimming, scenic walks and more…
Renowned
for its excellent fishing, Port Rickaby is also an exceptional place
for swimming in the sheltered, sandy bay which hosts the annual Vacswim
classes during January.
Beyond relaxing on the beach, Port Rickaby offers an array of outdoor
activities from scenic walks to snorkelling. Tennis courts are
available for hire and there is access to a boat ramp, which
facilitates beach launching.
Scenic lookout
The
lookout encompasses panoramic views, which stretch across the charming
township and stunning coastline. Local dolphins are often seen playing
in the azure waters and on many evenings glorious sunsets light-up the
sky.
